Renewable raw materials such as wood should gain more importance, also in the construction of large buildings. Heating and cooling concepts should be based on minimal energy consumption. The circular economy system must be increasingly integrated into the construction sector. And the idea of participation, a culture of co-determination and involvement, should also find shape in the construction of public authorities and public buildings. en. For this reason, the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (German Federal Foundation for the Environment) is promoting a number of measures.
